Sujit Choudhry is the founder of Center for Constitutional Transitions, an organization that aims to generate and mobilize information and knowledge to support constitution building by seeking out help from leading international experts, assembling them to produce policy options that will be used for research studies and will benefit decision makers. The Center for Constitutional Transitions has partnered with multilateral organizations, think tanks and non-government organizations all across the world. The organization has at least 50 partner experts, coming from 25 different countries. Sujit Choudhry’s previous job prior to establishing the organization was a constitutional advisor, serving transitional and emerging democracies around the world. He is involved in the creation of their constitution, and amending the ones that have already existed. They have been participating actively, and the group has been involving themselves into hosting seminars and conventions and enlightening the public about the constitution. He is an expert in the field, and has managed to earn his law degree from three countries. His knowledge about the laws and international relations have given him the edge in advising bodies about the importance of creating and amending the constitution, once they decided to change for the better.
